New species in BBC, Guardian, Daily Mail....

WWF's Annual Magical Mekong Report features 139 new species descriptions from across the Greater Mekong Region, including 90 new plant species. Our new orchids, discovered during our surveys of illegal plant markets in Thailand, are among them (and the only plants featured in the report).

While trying to bring attention to the importance of new discoveries (and the problem of species discoveries via illegal trade), we also want to help safeguard these new species from the demand of consumers chasing exotic species for their collections.
